I agree about the title. I don't see in this piece, a tortured soul. She is going into the light, to the clouds, very gracefully.
She is indeed making us follow her. The whole piece makes her seem so powerful, like nothing can bring her down. She keeps walking to where she wants.
I love your work and this is as always beautiful! Great attention to detail as well!. It's beautiful apart from the title that it doesn't really fit.[in my opinion
The contrast is just right. The dramatic sky is ever so fitting to the illusion being created here. I like the dark air about it. I am assuming the flesh shading has been worked, but it is done well. It is the right shade, against the black. Overall I really like it.
Oddly though I am unsure if I agree with the title for your piece. When I look at it, I don't get the impression that this is a suffering soul. Quite the contrary. There is a mystique, a sense of power, magick even. She'll make you do whatever she wants you to do.
